Sometimes the best holiday and winter aromas are not sugary, pepperminty, or chocolatey. Sometimes, instead, they are deep, woodsy, and reminiscent of the ancient lands that we read stories about underneath the Christmas tree.
Two of the gifts that the wise men brought to Jesus were frankincense and myrrh which, at one point in time, were worth their weight in GOLD! The healing abilities of these resins were well known during this era, and they were commonly used as sacred incense.
Frankincense and myrrh together offer antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, tightening, DEEPLY nourishing and healing properties (just to name a few). They can also be used to soothe achey joints and muscles and provide a gentle warming feeling which is perfect for the cold season!
Black spruce essential oil provides a balancing and stress-relieving effect through its aroma, and atlas cedar wood essential oil is skin-soothing and stimulates blood circulation.
Lavender essential oil is good for all of the above and helps to round-out the balm's overall scent.
Using this lotion will keep your hands youthful, moisturized and clean even in the harshest winter weather while the aroma will keep you balanced, calm, and grounded throughout all the holiday craziness that so easily overshadows the true Reason for the season.
DIRECTIONS: Rub finger on top of balm to warm, then take a small amount and rub all over both hands - a little goes a long way!

While this can affect the texture of the product, it does not affect the efficiency or safety. If your product has arrived frozen, leave at room temp until thawed and use like normal. If your product arrives melted, place in the refrigerator until it has resolidified.
