This liquid gold for your lungs is possibly the most complex product that we make!
It involves three tinctures, an electuary (infused honey), and a decoction all mixed together in one jar! Even more interestingly, each herbal preparation includes the same three, mucilage-rich herbs:
Mullein leaf - One of the most commonly known and loved herbs for lung health! It contains a variety of anti-inflammatory compounds that help reduce overall inflammation in the lungs, and is a mucilage which means it helps soothe and protect the respiratory tissues.
Cinnamon - Rich in antioxidants that can help protect cells from damage due to free radicals and oxidative stress. Anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, and soothing properties can help protect against OR speed up the healing time of lung infections/illnesses.
Marshmallow root - Supports mucous clearance and also soothes and protects respiratory membranes.
It might seem redundant to make three different preparations with the same three herbs, but each method extracts slightly different compounds! It produces a synergistic mixture that provides maximum bioavailability to your body - meaning you are getting the absolute MOST out of each herb AND your body is able to actually absorb and process them!
