Lavender Sunburn Oil
While sunburn prevention is extremely important, how you take care of your skin after the fact is almost even more so! The healing process of a sunburn doesn't stop at taking the heat out of it because you still have damaged skin that needs to recover, even once the pain and swelling are gone.
That is where our Lavender Sunburn Oil comes in!
Meant to be used after you get most of the heat out of your sunburn, our 2-ingredient oil is a POWERHOUSE of deep, nourishing healing that comes in to finish the job by actually repairing the skin.
Lavender is an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-bacterial, so it offers pain relief by soothing the affected area while offering some protection against infection or further irritation. It is very gentle but very powerful!
Grapeseed oil l is DEEPLY nourishing and replenishing to the skin. While it can be too thick in some circumstances to use as a daily lotion or moisturizer, that's part of what makes it so perfect when healing a sunburn! Since it takes a while to absorb into the skin, it helps protect the burned area while pushing lavender's healing properties deep below the surface.
DIRECTIONS: Make sure most of the heat has been taken out of the sunburn, then apply generously to the affected area(s) 3-5 times a day, or more if desired. Make sure you allow time for the oil to soak into the skin evenly.
INGREDIENTS: Vitis vinifera (grapeseed oil), Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower and essential oil
