Pumpkin Spice Digestive Bitters
The term 'digestive bitters' or 'herbal bitters' typically just mean any herb that has a predominately bitter taste and helps stimulate saliva production, bile production in our liver, and other gastric 'juices' that are necessary for smooth and regular digestive function.
You might think "bitter" = "doesn't taste very good," but did you know that several of the ingredients in genuine pumpkin spice are natural bitters??
Cinnamon: Can help regulate blood sugar & boosts blood circulation
Allspice: Has traditionally been used to relieve gas, bloating and headaches (which can be caused by indigestion)
Nutmeg: Offers anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties for smooth digestive processes
Clove Bud: Can support liver health (HIGHLY important part of digestion)
We also included bitter orange (as in our Orange Cardamom bitters) for a little added flavor + its powerful ability to stimulate your bitter receptors on the back of your tongue!
On top of the health benefits, you can add these bitters to coffee or cocktails/mocktails for some *seasonal* boosted flavor!
NOTE: If you have severe digestive issues, it is always recommended that you speak with a doctor or holistic practitioner before taking any kind of herbs. We are not medical professionals.
INGREDIENTS: 151 proof rum (preservation & extraction), Cinnamomum verum (sweet cinnamon), Citrus x aurantium (bitter orange), Pimenta officinalis (allspice), Myristica fragrans (nutmeg), Syzygium aromaticum (clove bud)
DIRECTIONS: FOR BEST RESULTS - About 10 minutes before a meal, drop one serving (about 1/4 tsp) directly onto the back of your tongue and hold in your mouth for about 10-15 seconds until you start to salivate. You may also dilute with a small amount of water to help taste.
