Sip & Settle - Acupuncture Event

With the purchase of a ticket you are invited to drop by the apothecary and enjoy an intimate evening designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and experience the calming traditions of tea and acupuncture in a cozy, community setting!

What to expect:

You will need to fill out a short questionnaire that tells a little bit about yourself so that the Acupuncturist can have some background info before your session and personalize your experience as much as possible. We will email this form to you after your purchase for you to look over! You are also welcome to print it out and bring it yourself - otherwise we will have copies available for you upon arrival. :)

You will also need to sign a consent form upon arrival.

The session will begin with a cup of tea from Tennessee Sassanachs that corresponds with the area of focus that you choose on your questionnaire (stress/relaxation, digestion, general inflammation/comfort, pregnancy/postpartum) followed by a brief introduction to acupuncture and how it may be used as part of an integrative approach to supporting overall well-being.

Each participant will have a brief tongue and pulse assessment with Alexandria Russell, D.Ac., L.Ac., followed  by their choice of: Gentle ear acupuncture OR needle-free ear seeds.

You’ll then have time to settle in, relax, and enjoy your tea while the treatment takes place! 

No previous acupuncture experience is necessary. Whether you’re completely new to
acupuncture or have experienced it before, you are absolutely welcome!
