You can't go wrong with a rich, warm, Autumn-spiced tea - especially when it's a beautiful orange/golden color once brewed!
Kukicha (also known as 'twig tea') comes from the tea plant, "Camellia sinensis," which all the other familiar types of tea (green, black, white, etc) also come from. The difference is that instead of using the leaves, the stems, stalks, and twigs are harvested!
It has a slightly lower caffeine content than regularly harvested tea but still maintains the antioxidants, nutrients, and minerals that support heart, bones, and immune health.
In this blend you'll also find herbs and warming spices that literally warm your body, help fight illness and infection, support healthy digestion, lower inflammation, support respiratory function and health, AND celebrate some of the BEST flavors of Fall!
PRO TIP: Squeeze or throw in a fresh orange slice after brewing to really ramp up the orange flavor 😋
DIRECTIONS: Add 1 TBS of tea to 8 oz (1 cup) of just-boiled water. Let steep for 6-8 minutes, then strain. Feel free to add honey or sweetener of your choice!
