The Cast Iron bar contains oils (grapeseed and sunflower seed) with high smoke points which means they won't cook out after a few meals, and with relatively no taste, they won't interfere with your food flavor either. The last ingredient, beeswax, is a fantastic waterproofer and also keeps the oils from leaving any kind of sticky residue!

The Cutting Board bar contains fractionated coconut oil which doesn't go rancid like regular coconut oil, so it deeply conditions wood without the worry of mold or bacteria growth! Organic carnuaba wax is the hardest natural wax available, and provides serious waterproofing and protection + a beautiful shine when combined with beeswax.

Cutting Board Conditioner: Cocos nucifera (fractionated coconut oil MCT),  Copernica cerifera (organic carnauba wax), beeswax

Cast Iron Conditioner: Vitis vinifera (organic grapeseed oil), Helianthus Annuus (organic sunflower seed oil), beeswax


Cutting Board Conditioner: Use your hands or a clean cloth to rub the conditioner evenly onto your cutting board or wooden utensils (covering the top, bottom, and sides) - use a clean cloth to wipe off excess conditioner (OR) leave to absorb overnight, then apply another layer of conditioner the next day and wipe off excess with clean cloth - repeat monthly or as desired

Cast Iron Conditioner: Preheat oven to 450 degrees (F) - quickly rinse pan to clean any surface dust - place pan on stovetop and turn to low heat until pan is completely dry and warm - barely touch conditioner block to pan, using as little as possible, to spread a thin layer in the middle - use a dishcloth or clean rag to spread that thin layer of conditioner all over the pan inside and out (including handle and bottom of pan) - use a dry cloth to wipe off as much as possible since you don't want any thing to drip once you put it in the oven - place aluminum foil on bottom rack of oven to catch any accidental drips - place warm cast iron pan upside down on top oven rack - bake for one hour, then turn oven off and leave the pan to completely cool in the oven - repeat as necessary depending on condition of pan

While this can affect the texture of the product, it does not affect the efficiency or safety. If your product has arrived frozen, leave at room temp until thawed and use like normal. If your product arrives melted, place in the refrigerator until it has resolidified.
