The HSV-1 virus affects two-thirds of the global population. The star of this salve is lemon balm, which is known to be highly effective at speeding up the healing process of cold sores thanks to its antiviral properties! It also brings mild pain relief, and when used in salve form, keeps the sore moisturized to prevent cracking and bleeding.
Other ingredients include:
- Peppermint: antiviral properties and slight pain reliever when applied topically
- St. John’s Wort: has been shown to reduce outbreak severity and frequency
- Echinacea Root: boosts the immune system to fight off outbreaks much quicker
- Basil EO: natural anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antibiotic
This salve specifically targets the external part of the cold sore and is meant to be used in addition to taking Lysine. The combination of taking Lysine and using our salve will attack the outbreak from both the outside and the inside, effectively getting rid of cold sores as quickly and painlessly as possible!
WARNING: Do NOT share your tin with others as it could spread the HSV-1 virus. This is why we include two (.5 oz) tins per order.
DIRECTIONS: Apply to affected area(s) 2-3 times a day.
